Bailey Smith is Cavalry Strategies’ Vice President of Communications. She leads the company’s work with clients on brand maximization and also manages their public relations campaigns. Bailey previously held positions with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Rick Scott, managing communications, media relations, and external affairs, including multiple successful bids for statewide office. Under Governor DeSantis, Bailey served as the Communications Director for the Agency for Health Care Administration, overseeing the state’s communications for protecting the unborn. Bailey is skilled in storytelling and building relationships with external stakeholders to successfully develop and win complex issue campaigns. Bailey is from Tallahassee, FL and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.
